Job description

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Motor Vehicle Technician / Class 4 MOT Tester to join our busy workshop on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will have at least 5 years’ motor trade experience, hold a current Class 4 MOT licence, and be capable of carrying out everything from routine servicing and diagnostics to engine repair work.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out Class 4 MOT tests in line with DVSA requirements.
  • Service, repair, and maintain a variety of vehicles.
  • Diagnose and repair engine faults and major mechanical issues.
  • Complete all jobs accurately, efficiently, and to high standards.
  • Maintain workshop cleanliness and safety standards.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and work well within a team.
Requirements
  • Current DVSA-approved Class 4 MOT Tester licence.
  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Motor Vehicle Repair.
  • Minimum 5 years’ proven experience in the motor trade.
  • Strong diagnostic skills, including engine work and fault finding.
