Job description

Our client, a well established family owned franchised dealership in Surrey, is looking to recruit an experienced Motor Vehicle Technician

Working Hours/Days: 42.5 hrs a week
Monday to Friday; 8:00am - 5:00pm | Saturdays 8am-12am, 1 in 4 paid at time and a half

Salary: Basic £33,600 to £44,100 depending upon experience and role
OTE £50,000 Uncapped

Duties and Responsibilities

• Carrying out service, diagnosis and repair of vehicles to excellent standards
• Communicating with the Service Reception team and Workshop Control
• Maintaining good housekeeping standards and orderly administration of your work
• Maintaining thorough and up to date product knowledge
• Speaking with customers on occasion to provide your expert, technical opinion
• Using specialist equipment such as electrical and electronic diagnostics
• Engine tuning equipment to measure performance
• Rectifying faults on customer's vehicles in a busy workshop
• Maintaining exceptionally high customer service levels that lead to customer loyalty and referrals
