Are you a qualified teacher, tutor or instructor of Motor Vehicle?

Could you use your knowledge to deliver practical lessons in a SEMH College setting working with students studying BTEC?

  • Motor Vehicle Teacher, Tutor or Trainer
  • Immediate start, long term with permanent prospects
  • £165 - £235 per day
  • School location: Wolverhampton
  • Working with small groups in a very practical environment
The Role

As a Motor Vehicle Teacher, Tutor or Trainer you will deliver structured, practical lessons to small groups. You will work to the BTEC curriculum so experience in a school or college setting is essential. You will not just be responsible for teaching the basics but getting students ready for the world of work and underpinning skills and H&S as part of the programme.

The Candidate

You will hold a teaching qualification and have worked in a school or college setting teaching BTEC. You will be keen to continually develop your input in practical lessons that will enable students to continue their development. You will have a track record of teaching and be able to adjust your technique to engage with all students. Insights into apprenticeships and world of work are a must.

  • BTEC - You will have in-depth knowledge of the BTEC Motor Vehicle.
  • Enhanced DBS - Ideally on the Update Service.
  • Desire to work with students age 14+ - With a genuine interest in supporting progress.
  • Experience working with students in an SEMH or College setting.
