Are you passionate about the motor vehicle industry and keen to inspire the next generation of automotive engineers? Newcastle College is looking for enthusiastic and skilled Motor Vehicle Lecturers to join its team on both part-time and full-time contracts.

This is a fantastic opportunity to bring your industry knowledge into education, supporting students to develop practical skills and prepare for successful careers in the automotive sector. Teaching experience is welcome, but if you're new to lecturing and bring strong technical expertise, training and support will be provided.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Deliver engaging lessons in motor vehicle maintenance, repair, and diagnostics.
  • Support students through hands‑on practical learning in our well‑equipped workshops.
  • Plan, assess, and monitor progress, ensuring students reach their full potential.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
  • Stay up to date with developments in the automotive sector and integrate these into teaching.
Qualifications
  • A strong background in the motor vehicle industry (garage, automotive Light & Heavy maintenance, or related setting).
  • Recognised teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one, with support provided).
  • Ability to engage and motivate learners of all levels.
  • A passion for passing on your skills and knowledge to the next generation.
  • Commitment to safeguarding, equality, and diversity.
