Senior Modelling Engineer - Southampton, Hampshire - Semiconductors

This role is ideal for a hands‑on engineer who thrives at the intersection of modelling, system analysis, and hardware experimentation. You will play a key role in shaping future human‑machine interface (HMI) technologies through rigorous research and practical engineering. You will be part of a team working on R&D of current and next‑generation HMI technology, collaborating closely with system architects, IC design, firmware, and system validation teams to ensure a consistent modelling‑to‑hardware flow.

What we expect from you:
  • Proven experience in high‑level modelling and simulation of complex systems
  • Strong knowledge of Digital Signal Processing (DSP)
  • Solid understanding of ASIC design, mixed‑signal systems, and related analysis tools
  • Proficient with version control systems (e.g., Git, Subversion) and familiar with Agile development methods
  • Proactive, curious, and collaborative, with a passion for knowledge sharing and learning across all levels
  • Proficient in two or more of: MATLAB, Simulink, Python

Location: Southampton (Hybrid)
