Job summary

A leading recruitment firm is seeking a proficient RPA Developer based in Andover for a 6-month contract. The role focuses on building automation solutions using Blue Prism and requires strong communication skills to articulate business processes effectively. You'll design, build, and test automated processes, ensuring adherence to RPA standards, and support operational teams during UAT. The position is hybrid with 2 days onsite each week, offering a daily rate of up to £437.

Job description

Role Title: RPA Developer

Duration: 6 month contract

Location: Andover, Hybrid 2 days per week onsite

Rate: up to 437 p/d Umbrella inside IR35

Clearance required: Active MOD SC Clearance is required

Role purpose / summary
  • Building automation solutions in blue prism
  • Following and maintaining documentation and live service including bug fixing change requests and enhancing in-place automations.
Skills Required
  • Strong proficiency in the use of Blue Prism software to enable complex automations.
  • Strong written communication skills to articulate business processes and automated solution designs clearly.
  • Ability to conceptualise and grasp automation tools and solutions.
  • Proficient in workflow logic, including interpreting workflow diagrams and translating written processes into visual representations.
  • Familiar with formal change control procedures and protocols.
  • Understand AGILE delivery methodology.
Responsibilities
  • Design, Develop, Build and Test automated processes adhering to Army RPA standard design principles and process lifecycle.
  • Configure new processes efficiently and maintain clear documentation.
  • Support and modify existing processes within change control guidelines.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in processes promptly.
  • Adhere to project plans, communicate risks and contribute to change control.
  • Assist operational teams during user acceptance testing (UAT) and roll‑out phases.
  • Create and document test procedures for pre‑UAT phases.
