Mockingbird and Norfolk Hub Liaison Practitioner | 8878 | Secondment Opportunity / Fixed Term Contract until March 2026 | 37 hours per week | £31,537 to £33,699 per annum | Grade G | Norwich

Our Fostering Service is on a journey to enhance our support to Foster Carers in Norfolk and we have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Liaison Practitioner in Norfolk's Fostering Service.

You will be joining a leading sector service provider who in 2022 was rated by Ofsted as delivering Good Outcomes for Children. In 2024 Fostering in Norfolk County Council was selected to partner with the Fostering Network to introduce the Mockingbird family model as part of Foster East. Mockingbird has continued to grow in Norfolk with 3 hubs and the development of more. This is a very exciting opportunity to support Foster Carers and you will join a service that and continues to embed this model into the way we support our Foster Carers.

Your role will be around setting up and supporting approved Foster Carers within the Mockingbird family model (MFM) hub. You will work closely with the hub home carer to arrange social events for Foster Carers within the Mockingbird family model hub. You will have a great support not only from the service but from the Fostering Network who continue to support us.

You will also have the opportunity to liaise with your counterparts in the Easter Region.
