Mobility Equipment Technician

Full-time, Permanent

£25K per annum

Barnstaple

Our client based in Barnstaple is looking for an experienced mobility equipment technician.

As a mobility equipment technician, you must:

  • Have experience in servicing, fitting and maintenance of mobility equipment, such as stairlifts, mobility scooters and hoists
  • Have a clean driving licence
  • Excellent customer service required as you will be entering customers homes
  • Have a professional appearance

Mobility equipment technician responsibilities include:

  • Servicing, fitting and repairing mobility equipment, you must have had prior relative experience in this field
  • Driving to customers homes to repair, service or fit their equipment
  • Clear, effective communication with customers regarding their mobility equipment
  • Conduct site surveys as required
  • Manage duties effectively and ensure all work is completed in a timely manner and to a professional standard

The successful candidate can expect:

  • Working Monday- Friday, occasional weekends due to emergency call outs
  • Contracted 38 hours per week
  • Salary starting at £25K per annum, however may increase based on experience
