• Knowledge of FEA, Thermodynamics, and Fluid Dynamics.
• Experience writing technical reports.
• Ability to work in a multicultural team and travel to European customers.
• PC skills: MS Word and Excel; excellent spoken and written English.

Overview

A worldwide, market leading, multinational engineering company working with clients in the automotive, scientific, pharmaceutical, electronics, oil and gas and food processing industries is seeking Graduate Mechanical Design Engineers to design, develop and test all aspects of new products.

Responsibilities

• Review requests for customised existing automation and chiller and air products from sales to ensure specification is clear and viable.
• Work with designers to create concept designs of customised existing products to meet customer requests.
• Create detailed parts drawings for prototype testing with the designer.
• Carry out testing of pneumatic products.

Location and Salary

Location: Leicester, Leicestershire
Salary: £26,500 - £30,000 (depending on experience)
