Job description

Our client is currently seeking an experienced Mobile Forklift Engineer to join their growing team. This is a full-time, permanent position covering the Greater Manchester area, working mainly from home and attending customer sites.

The Role

• Working 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday (day shift)
• Carrying out service, maintenance, and repair on diesel, gas, and electric forklift trucks
• Fault finding and diagnostics
• Completing LOLER inspections
• Working on both customer-owned and company-owned equipment
• Mobile role with a company van provided

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Forklift Engineer or similar mobile engineering role
• Mechanical experience on plant equipment, HGVs, or motor vehicles will be considered
• Electrical knowledge is advantageous
• Full UK driving licence (essential)
• Own tools required
• Reliable, organised, and good timekeeping skills
