Mobile Forklift Engineer – Southampton

We’re looking for an experienced Mobile Forklift Engineer to join a leading materials handling company, covering the Southampton & surrounding areas. Will also consider technicians & engineers from similar industries looking for a change or into a mobile position.

The Role :

Service, repair and maintain forklifts and material handling equipment at customer sites

Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults

Carry out planned preventative maintenance and breakdown support

Work independently in a mobile role, with support from the wider service team

What’s on Offer :

Competitive salary (based on experience)

39.5 hour working week : Mon–Thurs 8am–4 : 30pm, Fri 8am–4pm

About You :

Previous experience as a forklift engineer, plant fitter, vehicle technician, or similar

Strong skills in mechanical, electrical or hydraulic systems

NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) preferred, but not essential

IT literate, able to use technology for reporting and parts ordering

Full UK driving licence
