A leading facilities management company is seeking a Mobile Electrician in the West Midlands. This role includes managing electrical maintenance in prison environments, ensuring compliance and safety. Candidates should have relevant technical qualifications and a minimum of 3 years of experience as an electrician. A full UK driving licence is required. The position offers a standard 39-hour workweek with additional weekend work and an inclusive work culture.
We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a permanent Mobile Electrician in the West Midlands. The role will involve travel across the region visiting HMP Hewell and HMP Long Lartin. You will have access to a company van and fuel cad - giving you everything you need to travel between sites without the hassle.
The standard hours of work are 39 hours per week, 08.00 – 17.00 with an hour earlier finish every Friday. There is a need to work 1 in 3 weekends, but this would be on a rota basis (and with an additional allowance of 15% of basic salary), and part of an on-call rota.

The Mobile Electrician plays an important part in working in maintaining secure environments and supporting prison operations. You’ll tackle technical challenges, deliver mission‑critical services, and work alongside a team of expert engineers.
