About The Role

This role requires travelling between sites on the rail route (via road in the company van) working at night (with an ad hoc week of working days and the supervisor will be onsite too), this is across York, Durham, Darlington, Berwick, the ideal candidate will have a UK Driving licence and be comfortable using the company van provided.

Days per week for shift pattern: Sunday to Thursday

Approximate: 21:00 - 06:00

There may be some flexibility required according to business needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Will be using high-end equipment to deep clean the stations including the areas listed below.
  • Tidying up work areas, cleaning floors and communal areas.
  • Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, emptying bins and other tasks as required.
  • You may come into regular contact with customers so you must be able to assist them if needed.
  • You must complete all relevant Health & Safety records and attend training courses when needed.
The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria
  • Must have Right to Work in the UK.
  • Previous experience in cleaning would be advantageous.
  • You will have strong communication skills.
  • Willingness to work night and weekend shifts.

  • You may be required to undergo a medical and drug and alcohol test prior to starting in this role
