If you have an eye for attention to detail and enjoy general cleaning, you could be perfect for this career. Why not join one of our many teams of cleaners in Schools in Cupar and surrounding area. We currently have a permanent vacancy in this area covering as required Monday to Friday. Bell Baxter HS – Mobile Cleaner

25 hours per week Monday to Friday 40‑week contract. Hours of work are 2:30pm to 7:30pm Monday to Friday.

You will earn a competitive salary of £24,740.74 pro rata with annualised pay and have access to a range of benefits, including:

  • We pay the Scottish Local Government Living Wage of £13.18 per hour for this post, plus extra payments for shift work, including weekends.
  • Pay is annualised for 40‑week contracts (equal instalments every 4 week pay period).
  • Membership of Fife Pension Fund which is part of the Scottish Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS Scotland).
  • Generous holiday allowance.
  • Travel expenses will be paid – we pay 45 pence per mile to staff using their own car.
  • Access to and support with training opportunities and qualifications for the job.

This work is about ensuring pupils and staff can return to a clean and safe environment every school day. You will go home each day knowing you have made a difference. No previous experience is required as on the job training is given, working towards The Cleaning Operatives Proficiency Certificate.

The Person

No previous experience is required as full training is given.

Before confirming your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.

Have the ability to travel to numerous locations within the specified area of work.

You will be required to attend an Induction Training Day before starting in post.
