A leading facilities management provider in the UK is seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to perform maintenance duties across various client sites. This role demands proven expertise in air conditioning, essential safety compliance, and relevant certifications. Responsibilities include planned preventive maintenance and fault repairs, as well as adherence to health regulations. Qualifications

  • Proven experience working on air conditioning systems.
  • City & Guilds 2079 or CITB J11 required.
  • NVQ Level 2/3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning desired.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance within agreed SLAs.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations.
  • Fault finding, repair, maintenance, and installation of air conditioning systems.

Job description
Overview

We have teamed up with a Global FM provider to find an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to carry out planned and reactive maintenance across multiple client sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance within agreed SLAs
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, including F-Gas, COSHH, Risk Assessments, and LV Safe Systems of Work
  • Fault finding, repair, maintenance, and installation of air conditioning systems
  • Participate in an out-of-hours call-out rota
  • Monitor contractors and issue Permits to Work
  • Maintain equipment performance and site standards
Essential Requirements
  • Proven experience working on air conditioning systems
  • City & Guilds 2079 or CITB J11
  • NVQ Level 2/3 or City & Guilds in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
Desirable
  • 18th Edition qualified electrician
  • Recognised AC apprenticeship
