Senior Air Conditioning Engineer - Essex

A leading and well‑respected air conditioning contractor based in Essex is seeking a Senior Air Conditioning Engineer to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer looking to take the next step in their career!

The Role

As a Senior Air Conditioning Engineer, you'll be responsible for the service, maintenance, and reactive repair of air conditioning systems across a diverse commercial client base in Essex, London and surrounding areas.

• Service and maintain DX systems, splits, VRVs and VRFs.
• Carry out occasional chiller servicing and breakdowns (full in‑house training provided).
• Participate in a 1‑in‑4 callout rota, with additional pay for being on call.
• Deliver a high standard of work while representing a professional and well‑established business.

The Ideal Candidate

• City & Guilds Level 2 in F Gas and ODS Regulations (Category 1) is essential; Level 3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration is preferred.
• Proven experience in servicing and repairing air conditioning systems.
• Chiller experience is advantageous but not essential.
• Full UK driving licence is required.
• Based in Essex and within a commutable distance to South Essex.

The Senior Air Conditioning Engineer will be on a basic salary of up to £48,000, depending on experience + van + door‑to‑door travel pay + call‑out rota + training + career development.
