FULL TIME and PART TIME POSTS FOR BNHH.

Medical Laboratory Assistant – Blood Science– Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Working hours: between 07:30 and midnight on weekdays; weekends and bank holidays: 09.00 - 17.00.

Location: Basingstoke and North Hants Hospital (BNHH/Royal Hampshire County Hospital (RHCH)).

Role Description:

The successful applicant will work as part of a team supporting both the clerical and laboratory needs of Biochemistry, Haematology and Blood Transfusion. Your duties will include the receipt and booking of patient samples onto the laboratory information system and the movement of samples to the appropriate testing area.

In addition, the role also includes dealing with enquiries from both NHS Staff and the general public.
