Job summary

A leading gaming company in Milton Keynes is seeking an experienced Gaming Inspector. You will be responsible for monitoring table gaming and ensuring compliance with gaming procedures. Your role will involve reporting to the Casino Manager and assisting in running operations effectively. Candidates need a minimum of 2 years’ experience and a Personal Functional License. Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a gaming inspector/supervisor or other relevant experience.
  • Must possess a Personal Functional License (Gaming).
  • Strong knowledge of table gaming.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the table games are dealt in line with current gaming procedures.
  • Ensure integrity and fairness of the table games.
  • Report to the Casino Manager/Pit Boss on any players of note.
  • Comply with all policies and procedures.
  • Assist with training and development of croupiers.
  • Demonstrate strong table gaming knowledge.
  • Deal table games when required.
  • Promote the company professionally and positively.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety practices.
  • Attend and conduct meetings as required.
  • Ensure compliance with Responsible Gambling policies.

Job description

The inspector’s key responsibility is monitoring table gaming and ensuring games are dealt correctly in line with gaming procedures, monitoring players and reporting where necessary, and assisting the Casino Manager/Pit Boss in successfully running the gaming operation.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure the table games are dealt in line with current gaming procedures.
  • Ensure integrity and fairness of the table games.
  • Report to the Casino Manager/Pit Boss on any players of note.
  • Comply with all policies and procedures.
  • Assist with training and development of croupiers.
  • Demonstrate strong table gaming knowledge.
  • Deal table games when required.
  • Promote the company professionally and positively with internal and external contacts.
  • Ensure that the company’s equal opportunities policy is adhered to at all times.
  • Adhere to all company health and safety practices and procedures, acting as appropriate if issues arise.
  • Attend and conduct meetings as required.
  • Ensure compliance with internal Responsible Gambling policies and UK Gambling Commission Licence Codes of Conduct and Practice (LCCP).
  • Promote awareness of Responsible Gambling strategies and procedures, ensuring Responsible Gambling is integral to daily operations.
  • Be proactive in safeguarding customers and the business by ensuring compliance standards are delivered to the highest level and identifying opportunities to improve.

In keeping with accepted principles of good company practice, you may be required to undertake additional or alternative duties related to your position as directed from time to time by your line manager.
