Job summary

A leading tech company is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to help deliver mission-critical solutions to the blue light emergency services market. You will be responsible for building and upgrading communication systems, troubleshooting issues, and working closely with internal teams. Applicants should have experience in Microsoft technologies and excellent customer service skills. The role requires working at various customer sites in the UK with extensive travel. Qualifications

  • Experience in troubleshooting and problem solving.
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Active Directory/domain architecture.
  • Proven experience administering and working with Microsoft Windows 11/Server.
  • Experience deploying Microsoft Windows and Server Operating Systems.
  • Working knowledge of MySQL/MSSQL.
  • Proven experience with virtualization environments.

Responsibilities

  • Build commissioning and upgrade bespoke communication products.
  • Fault finding at both hardware and software levels.
  • Create and review NEC Engineering documentation as necessary.
  • Coordinate activities with internal teams.
  • Work at customer sites with extensive travel required.
  • Manage extensive customer contact requiring professionalism.
