Overview

On behalf of our client, we are seeking to recruit a Minor Works Project Manager on an initial 12-month contract. As the Minor Works Project Manager you will be reporting directly to the HO Services Filton, and you will be responsible for managing multiple projects of up to £100,000 in value across multiple sites.

Responsibilities
  • Creating a visual project plan.
  • Implement safety measures where appropriate to reduce the frequency of workplace accidents and injuries.
  • Executing - managing the project and subcontractors\' safety.
  • Have sound financial awareness - must understand margin control, application processes, final account negotiation, Schedule of rates, cost to complete etc.
  • Evaluating successes and challenges to enhance learning for your next project.
  • Ensuring any related operational policies and procedures are adhered to for the assigned projects.
  • Set objectives in line with your organisation and client needs, which will include scope, content, timings, and budget.
  • Identify and manage risks to ensure delivery is on time, obtaining and reviewing risk assessment method statements from third parties.
Essential Skills
  • 3 years experience in Facilities.
  • Experience in managing multiple projects at the same time.
  • Must be able to gain Security Clearance.
  • Project management of up to £100,000.
  • Experience of M&E works.
  • IOSH Managing Safely Qualification.
  • NEBOSH Qualification.
  • Able to manage key stakeholders.
  • CDM awareness.
