A leading defense contractor in the UK is seeking a Vehicle Technician Trainer to deliver hands-on training to military students. The ideal candidate will have strong workshop experience with vehicles, excellent communication skills, and a minimum NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance or Engineering. Qualifications

  • Understanding of military vehicles or environments is desirable.
  • Enthusiastic and articulate, with a proactive approach to learning and teaching.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging, hands-on training to military students.
  • Prepare lesson plans, training aids, and assessments.
  • Monitor and support trainee development.

Skills

Strong workshop experience with diagnostic skills in light vehicles or HGVs
Confident communicator with a passion for mentoring and developing others
IT literate, working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Education

Minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance or Engineering
Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training (or willingness to achieve)
