Our client is a household name in the industry and is seeking time-served MIG Welders to work in their factory in Stockton-on-Tees. Job type: Temporary - Ongoing

Location: Stockton (TS18 3SD)

Pay Rate and Working Hours:

  • Days £18.17 per hour
  • Backs £21.80 per hour
  • Night £23.207 per hour Three shift pattern, but you must be flexible to work any shift. Some shifts may rotate so flexibility is required.

DAYS: 06:45AM - 15:00PM (Mon - Thur) 6.45AM - 12.45PM (Fri)

BACKS: 14:45PM - 23:00PM (Mon - Thur) 10.45AM - 16.45PM (Fri)

NIGHTS: 22:45PM - 07:00AM (Mon - Thur) 16.30PM - 22.30PM (Fri)

Responsibilities
  • Work on build/weld fixtures to tight tolerances
  • Work under own initiative as well as part of a team
  • Follow a standard work procedure/housekeeping
  • Carry out some manual lifting
  • Use overhead cranes
  • Jig work
  • Adhering to PPE requirements and standards in place.
Requirements
  • Previous experience of MIG Welding
  • Time Served Welder
  • Relevant NVQ Level 3
