A healthcare provider in Scotland is seeking a Midwifery Team Lead to join their integrated Midwifery Team at Western Isles Hospital. This position requires 24-hour service responsibility, providing clinical leadership to ensure safe and effective maternity care. Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience as a midwife at Band 6 level, a full UK driving licence, and be eligible for registration with the PVG Scheme. NHS Western Isles is looking for a flexible, enthusiastic Midwifery Team Lead to join our integrated Midwifery Team. As a Midwifery Team Lead, you will carry out 24-hour responsibility for the service, and you will provide clinical leadership forрольке midwifery team.
For this post we are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Midwifery Team Lead with a desire to develop the service and the ability to inspire others. You will have the opportunity to embrace challenges that this leadership and management role brings and to الإن فريق عند wsupportteam to providing safe, effective and high-quality clinical care for women and their families.
The Maternity Services are based from the Western Isles Hospital and provides the whole range of Maternity care in both community and hospital settings including antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal, triage/day case, early pregnancy assessment and sonography services. Uist midwifery is managed from Uist and Barra Hospital. This is predominantly a community-based service as is the Maternity service on the Isle of Barra which is based at Clach Mhile Surgery in Castlebay.
There is an on-call commitment to this post.
Continuous professional development is actively encouraged and supported through in-house programmes and Institutes of Higher Education. Applicant must be a car owner and in possession of a full UK driving licence.
