Overview

We are seeking a midday supervisor to join our school team on a permanent basis.

Details
  • Grade: BCP Band C SCP 3
  • Hourly rate: £12.85
  • Hours: 11.45am – 1.15pm, weekdays during term time (7.5 hours per week)
  • Closing date: Friday 3 October 2025
  • Interview date: To be confirmed
  • Start date: ASAP
  • Pay and Reward: From 1 December 2025, refreshed pay package; salary for this role will be changing.

  • The pro rata salary shown is based on the number of hours and weeks worked and includes appropriate paid annual leave and bank holiday entitlements.
  • Salary payment is the annual salary for the position at the time of advert, paid in equal monthly instalments and adjusted at the start of employment and again if leaving part way through the school year to ensure the correct salary is received for the work completed in an academic year.
  • Right to work is required as part of the appointment process.
  • Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and related exemptions apply; information about convictions must be declared as required.
Safeguarding and recruitment

Keeping Children Safe in Education: The school will conduct online searches of shortlisted candidates as part of safeguarding checks. Searches will assess suitability to work with children, and may involve social media and internet checks. A panel member not on the appointment panel will conduct searches to avoid bias, and information will only be shared if findings are relevant and of concern.
