Location: High Wycombe

Term time only

Salary Type: Bucks pay

Salary details: Salary £23797.00 pro rata., Actual Salary £4008.00.

Contract type: Permanent

Hours: 7.5 Hours per week. 5 days per week Monday to Friday. Term Time only - 38 weeks per year. 1.5 hours per day to be agreed between 11.45am and 1.45pm.

Overview

At High Wycombe Church of England Combined School we provide a broad, balanced and stimulating curriculum encouraging each child to grow in confidence and in faith. We endeavour to give children not only the opportunity to develop their intellectual and physical skills, but also their personal and spiritual qualities enabling them to become caring, capable members of society. We believe a close school/home partnership is an essential factor in the education of each child and consequently we place great importance on the dialogue between home and school.

You will work with a team of Midday Supervisors during the lunchtime. The role involves supervising and interacting with pupils while they eat lunch, accompanying them onto the playground, assisting with playground games and activities, maintaining high standards of behaviour, and setting up and clearing away of lunch time equipment.

Responsibilities

Supervise pupils during lunch periods, interact with pupils while they eat, accompany them onto the playground, assist with playground games and activities, maintain high standards of behavior, and set up/clear away lunchtime equipment. Work as part of the midday supervision team.

About you

Successful candidates will be enthusiastic, caring and self-motivated people who enjoy interacting and working with children aged 4-11 years.

No previous experience is necessary as training will be given. You will be required to attend first aid and other relevant training.
