A popular academy school in Wokingham is seeking a lively Midday Supervisor to ensure student well-being during lunch breaks. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience and a commitment to safeguarding. Responsibilities include monitoring dining hall premises and supporting a positive environment. This role offers a chance to engage with young people in a school setting.
Monday to Friday, 1.10pm – 2.35pm (term time only – start as soon as possible).
We are looking for a Midday Supervisor to join our existing team at The Holt, a popular and oversubscribed 11‑16 girls and 16‑18 co‑ed comprehensive school (converted to academy status in July 2011). With the support of senior staff, the supervisor is responsible for the well‑being of students during lunch times in the dining hall and around the school.
The supervisor will:
• Ensure the safety and welfare of pupils during lunch breaks.
• Monitor dining hall and school premises to support a positive environment.
• Provide cover in other support roles where suitable.
We are seeking a lively, enthusiastic applicant with an interest in working with young people. Relevant experience and a commitment to safeguarding are essential.
