Midday Meal Supervisor - Primary School in Kensington

Hours: Monday-Friday, 11:00am-2:00pm (Term Time Only)

Pay: £14-£16 per hour (depending on experience)

Are you friendly, reliable, and enjoy working with children? Our welcoming primary school in Kensington is looking for a Midday Meal Supervisor to join our lunchtime team.

About the Role

As a Midday Meal Supervisor, you will help ensure that lunchtimes run smoothly, safely, and happily. You'll support pupils in the dining hall, supervise play outside, and help create a positive, caring atmosphere throughout the lunch period.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervising children during lunch in the dining hall and playground
  • Encouraging good table manners and positive behaviour
  • Supporting safe and inclusive play
  • Helping to set up the lunch area, including arranging tables and equipment
  • Tidying and cleaning the lunch area after use
  • Managing minor first aid needs (training provided if required)
  • Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all pupils at all times
  • Working as part of a friendly and supportive team

  • Experience in a school setting is helpful but not essential
