Salary – £35-45K base plus uncapped commission scheme

We are seeking a Microscopy Sales Account Manager for applied microscopes in the Midlands region to join one of the UK’s leading microscope specialists representing a diverse range of cutting-edge brands. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in boosting the company’s presence and sales in the materials science market (industry, academia, and materials science research).

What we're looking for...

Experience selling scientific capital equipment:

- Candidates should have a track record of sales experience, preferably in the context of scientific capital goods.

- Familiarity with the industrial sector is highly desirable, as it helps in understanding the specific needs and challenges of customers in this industry.

Knowledge of Microscopes

- Candidates should possess practical knowledge and skills related to optical microscopes or related equipment. This could include:

- Understanding how optical microscopes work.

- Familiarity with various types of optical microscopy techniques

- Knowledge of materials analysis techniques, which might involve using optical metrology for measurements.

- The ability to explain and demonstrate the use of such equipment to potential customers.

Materials Science Background (Materials analysis)
