Overview

£32k plus annual bonus

Small specialist company working within the Meetings & Incentives & Conference and Events market seeks a MICE Project Manager. Working with corporate travel and direct clients from the USA, South America and Spain who bring groups to the UK and Ireland, as Project Manager you will handle the enquiry from initial creation, through to final operations. Designing and creating unique and interesting itineraries and events, you will negotiate with suppliers such as hotels, venues, attractions, transport and restaurants.

The Company has an office in London and Edinburgh and a low turnover of staff – they are professional, friendly and love the experiences they create for their clients!

Responsibilities
  • Handle enquiries from initial creation through to final operations for MICE projects, working with corporate travel and direct clients from the USA, South America and Spain.
  • Design and create unique itineraries and events; negotiate with suppliers such as hotels, venues, attractions, transport and restaurants.
  • Attend events including Fam trips, site inspections, industry trade shows and networking events, and join some groups at events like Gala dinners.
Requirements
  • Great knowledge of the UK 5-star hotel sector and venues around the UK and Ireland.
  • At least 2 years experience working with a DMC or inbound tour operator.
  • Please note: we are not seeking candidates from a venue background.
  • Fluency in English is essential; Spanish is useful.
