We currently have a vacancy for a Metal Control Assistant.

The Role

As our Metal Control Assistant, you will support the Metal Control function by accurately handling, monitoring and recording all precious‑metal movements. Assist with stock‑takes, investigate discrepancies, and maintain high standards of security and compliance. The role is critical for maintaining metal accuracy, traceability and operational integrity across the site.

Key Responsibilities

• Record all metal movements accurately on the ERP system.
• Weigh, label, and securely store all incoming and outgoing precious metal where needed.
• Ensure correct documentation and signatures are completed for all transactions.
• Assist with stock taking, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
• Support the Metal Control Supervisor with reporting, audits and investigations.

About You

• Proven experience in a production/engineering environment.
• Ability to follow processes and procedures accurately and with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
