Job summary

A leading staffing solutions provider is seeking a talented MET Technician / Strip Fitter in Byfleet to repair damaged vehicles in a state-of-the-art Bodyshop. The ideal candidate has a recognised apprenticeship, experience in a busy environment, and a strong standard of vehicle repair techniques. Competitive salary of £50,000 with OTE of £60,000 and overtime available.

Qualifications

• Served a recognised apprenticeship as a MET Technician / Strip Fitter.
• Previous experience working as a MET Technician / Strip Fitter.
• Strong team player with a self-motivation to earn bonus hours.

Responsibilities

• Repair damaged vehicles in line with manufacturers' specifications.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced accident repair centre.
• Follow correct repair techniques and produce work in line with customer satisfaction.

MET Technician / Strip Fitter details:

Salary: £50,000

OTE: £60,000

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 45 hour week, overtime available

Location: Byfleet

Talented and efficient MET Technician/ Strip Fitter to join this leading team.

As a MET Technician / Strip Fitter, you will be repairing damaged vehicles in line with the manufacturers' specifications within a state-of-the-art Bodyshop, utilising modern equipment and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Work efficiently in a fast-paced accident repair centre.
• Follow the correct repair techniques and produce work in line with factory specifications and customer satisfaction.

Skills and Qualifications

• You will have served a recognised apprenticeship as a MET Technician / Strip Fitter and gained a technical qualification (such as NVQ / VCQ / SVQ / ATA).
• You must have previous experience working as a MET Technician / Strip Fitter within a busy body shop and be a strong team player with a self-motivation to earn bonus hours.
• You will work to the highest standard and demonstrate a sound up-to-date knowledge of vehicle repair techniques.
