A leading jewelry brand is seeking a Merchandise Financial Planner for a 12-month fixed-term contract in Greater London. The role involves managing financial and qualitative merchandise plans, collaborating with global teams, and enhancing inventory efficiency. The MFP team owns the local MFP & OTB process for the business. The Merchandise financial planning specialist is the main contributor to the Global Buy Reviews and Open-To-Buys meeting of the cluster.
This person is responsible for managing the planning processes to improve the MFP & OTB methods to secure forecast accuracy and achieve optimization of sales and stock efficiency.
The role translates global strategy into actionable local items related to inventory and targets for stock and sell-in. The successful candidate feels comfortable in being the main point of contact for knowledge of OTB strategy execution and constantly review and keep up to date Open-to-Buy plans. The role requires attention to detail, care and passion for product together with adherence to seasonal calendar dates and solution-driven approach through critical thinking and creativity.
