An organization supporting vulnerable youth is seeking experienced Mentor Inclusion Workers to work mainly in Rotherham. The role focuses on improving the social and emotional development of children and young people through one-to-one support. Candidates should have minimum 2 years of experience and strong communication skills, along with an Enhanced DBS check. Our Client is looking for experienced and reliable Mentor Inclusion Workers to cover roles in Rotherham and Doncaster, working mainly out of Rotherham.
The Mentor Inclusion Worker will play a vital role in supporting the social and emotional development of children and young people. The focus of the role is to help individuals build positive social interactions, improve cooperative play skills, and raise self-esteem and confidence. You will work closely with vulnerable pupils to support behavioural change, improve attitudes to learning, and promote engagement in education through consistent, nurturing, and supportive 1-to-1 interventions.
Our client works with some of the most vulnerable Year 1 to Year 11 pupils across Sheffield, Rotherham, Doncaster, and North East Derbyshire. They provide an alternative pastoral provision aimed at engaging pupils who are excluded, at risk of exclusion, or awaiting SEN placements. Their approach is centred on positive relationships, individualised support, and helping young people re‑engage with learning in a safe and supportive environment.
