About the Role

Join a brand-new, specialist service in Farnborough designed to support individuals transitioning from mental health hospital or forensic settings into the community. We are looking for compassionate, skilled Support Workers who can provide safe, structured, and person-centred care.



Key Responsibilities

  • Support individuals with complex mental health needs, including self-harm and suicide risk

  • Help manage behaviours that challenge using positive behaviour support techniques

  • Promote independence and community integration

  • Work closely with clinical teams to follow care plans

  • Maintain accurate daily notes and risk management reports



Requirements

  • Experience supporting adults with mental health needs, self-harm behaviours, and challenging behaviour

  • Strong understanding of risk and safeguarding practices

  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and work in a trauma-informed, professional way

  • PMVA, MAPA, or similar training (preferred but not essential)

  • Flexibility to work day shifts
