Overview

The Mental Health Act Hearings Co-ordinator is an integral post within the expanding Mental Health Administration Team. This six-month maternity cover position is hybrid in line with Trust policy.

Responsibilities
  • Arrange all patient Associate Hospital Managers reviews in a timely manner.
  • Liaise with professionals to ensure timely submission of reports.
  • Ensure all patient reviews are undertaken in accordance with the Mental Health Act legislation and code of practice.
  • Ensure all decisions are cascaded to participants.
  • Maintain internal processes and spreadsheets up to date accordingly.
  • To arrange patient reviews, liaise to establish reports in a timely manner, work on spreadsheets using Excel and complete databases accordingly.
Requirements / Skills
  • Have excellent communication skills.
