Location: Located just 15 miles from Oxford, Old Swan & Minster Mill is in the picturesque village of Minster Lovell.

Consisting of both a quintessentially country English Inn and a modern riverside hotel, we pay our team a service charge each month, which is shared with the team. The service charge can be in the region of £150 a month (close to £2000 per year) over and above base pay for a full‑time employee.

As a Meeting and Events Coordinator, you will work closely with both the front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house team, to ensure our guests not only have a wonderful time, but also make memories to last a lifetime.

We welcome applications from candidates with no experience, as this role is all about personality and attitude – we can teach you the rest.

Key points about the role
  • Reply to emails and calls as quickly as possible to avoid missing potential bookings.
  • Ensure all teams receive detailed function sheets during events.
  • Build great relationships with returning guests.
  • Be the main point of contact for both the client and hotel team on the day of weddings and other events, ensuring smooth running.
  • Ensure every guest leaves wanting to return, regardless of the event type.
  • Attend weekly operations meetings.
  • Contribute across departments when needed – we are one team.
