A major healthcare provider in the UK is seeking a Medicines Safety Officer to lead medication safety across multiple care groups. The role includes clinical responsibilities and managing a Medicines Safety Pharmacy Technician. The ideal candidate will have GPhC registration and experience in staff supervision and medication safety practices.
The Medicines Safety Officer post is an exciting and rewarding post a part of our multi-disciplinary Medicines Safety Team.
This post-holder will provide leadership in medicines safety for two of our Care Groups as well as line management for one of our Medicines Safety Pharmacy Technicians.
The post holder will be a key stakeholder in the Trust's Safe Use of Medicines Plan and a contributing member ensuring its success.
There will also be a clinical component to the role where there will be an expectation to contribute to the clinical services for our patients.
