Qualifications

  • Maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Coordinate and organise action arising from correspondence.
  • Maintain waiting lists to ensure clients are seen within key target times.
  • Organise clinic reviews and medication scripts in collaboration with the medical team.

Overview

If you are passionate about working with children and young people with a Learning Disability who are experiencing poor mental health or emotional dysregulation, we would love to hear from you. We are a highly experienced team of community based clinicians who love our work, our team and the families we work with. This role is currently open to current NHS staff working in Cornwall or the Isles of Scilly. We are committed to supporting our dedicated staff and work as part of an NHS community and mental health provider Trust based in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly, delivering community care to improve physical and mental health and providing specialist support to people with a learning disability.

Responsibilities
  • Provide a high quality secretarial service to the medical team
  • Maintain confidentiality at all times and sensitivity when dealing with contentious and complex information
  • Coordinate and organise action arising from correspondence and ensure prompt and efficient response as required by the Doctors
  • Coordinate with other professionals, outside agencies, legal staff, Trust staff, etc.
  • Maintain waiting lists to ensure clients are seen within key target times
  • Organise clinic reviews and medication scripts in collaboration with the medical team
  • Work closely with the team’s nurses
  • Support the NHS Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Integrated Care Board and related organisations as required
