A regional health service provider is seeking a highly motivated Medical Secretary to join their admin team. This permanent position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to manage a variety of administrative tasks. Successful candidates will provide essential support to the medical team while receiving opportunities for apprenticeship training. The role is based in Doncaster, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week, and focuses on delivering a high standard of administrative service.

We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic Medical Secretary to join our admin team within Rehabilitation Directorate. This is a permanent post, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, based at Tickhill Road Hospital.
The successful candidate will be reliable and able to provide a confidential, quality administration and telephone service. Attention to detail is essential whilst working within the team and supporting and mentoring colleagues. Applicants should have the ability to deal with people at all levels in a calm, polite and professional manner and should possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
If you don’t already have a Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant subject, RDaSH is offering this post alongside the opportunity for you to complete a Level 3 apprenticeship qualification relevant to your role. As an apprentice within RDaSH you will gain experience, learn work-related skills and obtain the tools needed to thrive. An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. Around 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying, leading to a nationally recognised qualification. Apprenticeships can help you develop the skills, knowledge and know-how to embark on a successful and fulfilling career within the health service.
To be responsible for providing an efficient secretarial and administrative support service to the Consultants and members of the medical team within the Care Group, and to provide day-to-day effective and efficient administration support of a branch of the Care Group.
