Overview

The North Stoke Community CAMHS team are looking to recruit a part time [30 hours a week] B3 Medical Secretary to support the Team based in Tunstall, Stoke on Trent. The successful postholder will be flexible, willing to undertake training, have excellent organisational skills and be a good team worker. Please note - due to current Immigration rules and regulations, this post is not eligible for sponsorship.

  • Priority will be given to NHS staff across the region who are at risk of redundancy, where the vacancy is at the same band or one below their current band and candidates meet the essential criteria for this post.
  • All employees new to the Trust will be subject to a 6 month probationary period.
  • All clinical staff bands 2-4 that are new to the Trust will be required to complete a Care Certificate.
  • Canvassing of members of the Trust or of any Committee of the Trust directly or indirectly for any appointment under the Trust shall disqualify the candidate for such appointment. The Trust does not pay travel expenses for candidates attending interviews. The successful candidate will be required to use in house systems such as Lorenzo [electronic patient record system], training for which, will be provided. You will be required to organise your own workload, using your own initiative to meet deadlines. You will be required to plan and organise clinics therefore good communication skills are essential. Excellent keyboard skills are also essential to the role.
