Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Acceptance testing and electrical safety testing of medical equipment.
• Routine maintenance and repairs on medical equipment.
• Training staff on medical device maintenance.

Skills

Understanding of mechanical, electrical/electronic systems & instrumentation

Knowledge of electrical safety testing requirements and methods

Computer literacy in Microsoft Office

Knowledge of electrical safety in a patient environment

Understanding of medical device applications

Familiar with computer databases and data recording systems

Education

HNC or equivalent in science or engineering

Degree in Clinical Technology or equivalent
