We are seeking a Medical Equipment Service Technician to join the Biomedical Engineering Department predominantly working within the electronics workshop. You will join an enthusiastic department that provides a Medical Equipment Management service for the Trust.
The post involves working closely with other healthcare professionals in providing corrective / planned maintenance, medical device training and the calibration of a wide range of medical equipment. The closing date is 09 February 2026

You should be qualified to a relevant degree or equivalent in engineering discipline or equivalent level of knowledge gained through experience/vocational training. You should also have good knowledge in fault-finding electrical / electronic equipment. Good communication skills are essential. You will be part of the team managing the Trust\'s large stock of medical equipment. The specialties covered include: x-ray equipment, pathology laboratory equipment, audiology, neuroscience, renal dialysis and anaesthetic equipment as well as the full range of patient related monitoring and therapeutic equipment found in the Trust\'s wards, intensive cares and theatres.
