Job description

We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Test Technician to join a leading Engineering company based in Fareham.

Overview

To perform short and long-term mechanical testing operations on composite, polymeric and metallic specimens, and assemblies, working to project plans and timescales.

Ideal Experience

• Mechanical background in either Assembly, Fitting or Maintenance looking to advance their skills.
• Good problem solving skills, works well in a team with strong time management and communication skills.
• IT literacy is required due to the documentation of tests; ideally proficient with Word and Excel.

Desirable

• Experience of working with hydraulics, instrumentation, installation of sensors, fitting gauges onto components, fault finding, testing, calibration and maintaining test equipment would be an advantage.

Salary

Salary £27K - £35K

Hours Monday to Friday
