Job Title: Mechanical Soldering Technician (Contract)

Location: Farnborough

Shift: Day shift - 07:30 to 16:00 (Friday finish at 13:00)

Rate: £13.81 PAYE / £15.82 PAYE (with holiday) / £18.90 Umbrella (Inside IR35)

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Soldering Technician to join our team on a contract basis in Farnborough. This role is based in the aerospace sector, producing temperature sensors for aircraft.

Responsibilities
  • Perform precision soldering tasks to aerospace standards.
  • Assemble and produce temperature sensors and associated components.
  • Ensure quality and accuracy of work in line with aerospace industry requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records and follow established procedures.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to meet production deadlines.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Previous soldering experience is essential.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality.
  • Ability to follow technical instructions and work to strict standards.
  • Aerospace or electronics background desirable (not essential).
  • Must be able to obtain 5 years of references for security vetting.
