Job description

A large solar EPC client of ours is looking for a Mechanical Supervisor to work on their ground mount solar farm project in the Gloucestershire area.

This would be a 8‑10 week contract starting ASAP. For this role, you MUST have previous experience working on large-scale ground mount solar farms and have all the required certifications.

Key Responsbilities:
  • Supervise mechanical works, including assembly and installation of solar structures.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety standards and project specifications.
  • Coordinate with site teams and subcontractors to maintain progress and quality.
  • Monitor daily work schedules and allocate resources effectively.
  • Conduct toolbox talks and enforce safe working practices.
  • Inspect and verify mechanical installations against drawings and specifications.
  • Report progress, issues, and solutions to the Project Manager.
  • Assist in resolving technical challenges on‑site.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of work completed and any variations.
Requirements:

  • First Aid (3‑day)
  • Previous experience of working on a large-scale ground mount solar farm
