Exciting New Contract - West London (Hammersmith)
£50k + £5k Shift allowance
Overtime
Training
Our client are one of the leading commercial M&E maintenance providers, with a number of high-profile customers across sectors including real estate, financial services, pharmaceutical, etc. With recent award of one of the highest-profile contracts (scope / ambition), and gradual mobilisation of the engineering delivery team, they now seek mechanical-bias engineers to join their existing and growing team, based in the West London area. This will eventually comprise a mixed-use development and include elements of both commercial office, residential and retail space, as well as live entertainment (concerts, sporting, etc). While eventually a 24/7 "4 on / 4 off" shift pattern will be adopted by the engineering team, it will operate on a Monday-Friday basis upon start in early 2026 prior to handover from main contractor to our client. Basic salary for these positions is fixed at £50,000 and also includes a shift allowance of £5,000.
Candidates must be fully qualified in mechanical engineering, ideally through a full apprenticeship, and 5+ years experience in a similar shift role within commercial building services / FM. Additional training such as F-Gas, Mechanical / Water Treatment AP, Cooling Towers, etc will be beneficial.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on a newly created contract, and further broad experience across a range of different premises. A large square foot area, it requires motivated and enthusiastic engineers not looking for an easy life and who want to help contribute to 5* delivery for one of the most high profile and ambitious developments within the UK this decade. Suiting those in the West London area looking to work local to home, and joining a newly‑assembled team, this is a rare chance to join a leader within commercial FM delivery.
