My client is looking for an outstanding Operations Manager to help in the running of this sector. Most of the sites are in Greater London, and a dedicated team is viewed as the correct approach to meet our customer’s needs. The team will include mobile Heating, Chiller, and AC engineers, mechanical engineers, improvers and apprentices. The contract relates to Energy Centre Services, servicing 18 sites this year with growth expected in the sector.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the team is service and quality focused.
  • Be able to use and understand a CAFM system.
  • Undertake engineer appraisals and development with HR.
  • Lead the operations team for Energy Centre Services across sites (primarily in Greater London).
  • Oversee a team that includes mobile Heating, Chiller, and AC engineers, mechanical engineers, improvers and apprentices.
  • Provide guidance on equipment knowledge and technical issues (pump overhauls, valve and pipework repairs, cooling tower testing, vibration analysis, fixing leaks, HIU servicing, belt and pulley alignment checks, fault finding, chiller and boiler checks, water treatment/temperature monitoring).
Qualifications
  • Ex-engineer in the building services market with relevant mechanical qualifications.
  • Technically astute with knowledge of equipment and systems common to M&E & HVAC.
  • Experience in supervising and developing multidisciplinary engineering teams.
