Job Title: Mechanical Fitter (Training and Upskilling Provided)
Location: Crewe, Cheshire
Shifts: Mon-Fri 8am – 4:30pm (With flexibility to work shifts)
Hourly Rate: £16.06 PAYE / £20.79 Umbrella (Training rate for first approx. 6 weeks) | £18.25 PAYE / £23.65 Umbrella (Post training)
Hours per Week: 37
Duration: Ongoing
Start Date: November/December 2025

Shorterm Group are recruiting for over 75 Mechanical Fitters for long term contracts for their major client Alstom to carry out the Mechanical Overhaul of Rail Bogies at their Crewe Depot.

You do not need to have a Rail Industry background as other Practical Trade Backgrounds will be considered and Paid Training will be provided.
