Overview

Our client an engineering company is seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter Assembler.

Job title: Mechanical Fitter
Location: Rochester - with UK and international travel
Salary: £32,000 - £35,000 pa depending on skill level + overtime
Hours: 39 hours per week, 45 minute break
Working hours: Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm
Friday: 8am to 2pm

Responsibilities

• The Mechanical Fitter role is mainly workshop based working as part of a small team building new machinery.
• Assist in wiring, wiring looms and mechanical assembly as part of building and commissioning machinery.
• Assemble, service, dismantle, move machinery in the UK and abroad (Europe, Philippines, Malaysia, India etc).
• Travel typically for no more than a week at a time, approximately 5 times a year.
