• Understand and sign all CPP / RAMS documentation.

Our client, a leading water sector specialist are seeking Mechanical Fitters to work in the water industry. Ideally candidates will have previous water sector experience. But the client will consider candidates with a relevant industrial background and relevant experience working on plant equipment / assets.

Sponsorship cannot be offered for this role, applicants must have full RTW in the UK.

This is a van based role, primarily based in the East Midlands.

Package Details

• £16.50p / hour
• Role is paid door-door
• Additional uplift for working away from home
• OT available, paid at x1.5 up to Saturday noon. paid at x2 thereafter
• Van provided
• Site hours 7-3, salary based on a 40 hour working week
• Call out is required as part of this role

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain mechanical equipment, including pumps, motors, gearboxes, valves and bearings.
• Fit and install steel support systems as needed.
• Troubleshoot and perform fault-finding on mechanical equipment.
• Assist electricians or civil engineers with tasks as required.
• Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety procedures and company policies, including following Safe Systems of Work and Risk Assessments on-site.
• Understand and sign all CPP / RAMS documentation before starting work on-site.
